The Maintenance Technician at K-Tube Technologies repairs and maintains the operating condition of electrical, mechanical, laser, hydraulic, pneumatic, and optical manufacturing equipment. Performs equipment modifications. Maintains spare parts inventory. Authorizes work on equipment needed from outside services. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance.
This temp-to-hire position will work 3rd shift (8:00pm - 4:30am. Sun-Thurs) will train Mon-Fri 6:00am - 2:30pm to be certified before moving to weekend schedule.
Pay range - $24.50/hr - $28.00/hr
• Actively participates in improving facility safety
• Minimizes equipment downtime to facilitate maximum manufacturing productivity
• Documents Preventative Maintenance
• Performs equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures. Provides input to modify PM procedures
• Identifies and procures equipment spare parts to maintain spare parts inventory
• Investigates equipment failures. Implements maintenance plan changes to prevent recurrence
• Releases new or modified equipment to manufacturing per validation instructions
• Communicates observations and recommendations to stakeholders
• Performs other duties as required by Maintenance Supervisor
• Must be willing to work mandatory overtime on any days scheduled per business needs
• 3 years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Industrial Maintenance
• AA/AS Diploma, Trade School or equivalent applicable experience
• Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, laser, hydraulic, pneumatic, and optical equipment and safety policies
• Knowledge and ability to perform Machine Shop functions – Mill, Lathe, Surface Grinder
• Knowledgeable of MS Word, Excel
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Moderate to heavy physical effort required
• Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the facility
• Work performed in both a manufacturing and office environment
• Exposure to metals, lubricants, solvents, electrolytes and other hazardous materials
• Required to wear K-Tube shirt
