The Director of Sales at Cook MyoSite, Inc. will lead efforts to meet company revenue goals, generate unique sales plans, and develop pricing strategies while helping to build the desired customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed company’s revenue targets.
• Ensure that the Account Managers meet their quotas and goals.
• Research and develop opportunities and plans with other business functions to understand consumer requirements, market trends, and system improvements to achieve the company's revenue goals.
• Gather, investigate, and summarize market data and trends.
• Implement new sales plans, advertising, and other promotional activities.
• Maintain relationships with important clients, understand their needs, and anticipate new growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Business Intelligence/ Insights to complete competitive analysis to develop unique selling propositions and pricing strategies.
• Build sales customer model to meet evolving portfolio needs.
• Identify trends, opportunities, and potential business concerns and take ownership to solve problems.
• Understand the reporting needs of the business and partner with marketing to create/simplify sales reports/data that will support the sales teams.
• Develop and implement training across the sales teams.
• Identify and establish contact with potential customers, with support of the Business Development Coordination Team, to generate new customer accounts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers in person and virtually; responsible for creating relationships with new prospects, decision influencers, and decision-makers on a regular basis.
• Represent the company in client meetings.
• Lead the customer acquisition process from initial outreach, to opportunity discussions, all the way through to a successful on-boarding, and continual follow-up for portfolio expansion.
• Learn and understand entire product offerings and identify product recommendations for different types of customers.
• Understand pharmaceutical industry and specific requirements of customers from each specialty type
• Attend industry trade shows and conferences to identify potential customer leads and to build productive contact with existing customers.
• Travel to attend face-to-face meetings with potential and existing customers.
• Keep a pulse on industry trends to identify opportunities for sales growth.
• Work diligently with the Customer Experience team to ensure all customer interactions are accurately recorded and kept up to date on a timely basis.
• Generate monthly sales and CRM reports to present to Senior and Executive Leadership.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business or Science related fields

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Biotechnology Sales

• General understanding of Biotechnology industry and regenerative medicine is highly preferred

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically, advanced knowledge of Project, Adobe, OneNote, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Expert in Outlook

 

Physical Requirements:

• Location: Full Time Remote
• Setting (Remote/Field Based): General office or home office setting.

• Travel (Domestic & International): 30-40%

• Ability to conduct and hear ordinary conversation and telephone communication.
• Must be able to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended work hours and/or extra work hours, sometimes on short notice as required.
• Ability to work under specific time constraints.
• Must be able to sit at desk, in meetings and/or work on a computer for long or extended periods of time.
• Visual and manual acuity for working with computers and equipment.
