Overview

Market Development Management executes regional marketing plans, in alignment with the division's mission, vision and purpose, and overall priorities. Marketing Specialists support the market development team that drive the specialty’s business goals and the company’s brand strategy. 

Responsibilities

  • Assists leaders with marketing planning duties or projects, as assigned 
  • May manage marketing projects that go beyond immediate team and job area
  • Contributes to the development of annual product marketing goals, projects, and objectives 
  • Analyzes campaign data, in collaboration with marketing manager and digital marketing team, to make suggestions for improvements in content and channels 
  • Performs research on markets and competitors 
  • Provides support for marketing channel management, under supervision of marketing manager 
  • Collaborates with the agency to initiate projects for marketing campaigns and content 
  • Understands the audience and objective of marketing projects to help identify appropriate reviewers and collaborators 
  • Manages marketing channels, working closely with marketing manager, market development, events and digital marketing teams 
  • Engages with sales team through CRM and other communication methods to support launch of marketing tools and gain feedback 
  • Foster and maintain a workplace culture respectful and supportive of individual differences 
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills 
  • Must maintain company values, policies and standards 
  • Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization 
  • Uses prior experience, analysis, and a broad understanding to find solutions to difficult, and sometimes, complex issues 
  • Works independently with limited supervision on larger, moderately complex projects 
  • Works with limited supervision and is able to identify potential solutions to difficult issues 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in marketing or business  

1-5 years of relevant experience    

Experience in developing project plans and managing marketing channels 

Some travel may be required
