Overview

The Business Insights Research Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of primary and secondary research to support business decisions. This position plans, coordinates, and executes on global projects and works with individuals across the company to apply insights garnered from research.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute project plans to align with business goals and meeting needs, including data sources, resource methodologies, time lines, and cost estimates.
• Administer web-based surveys and telephone/in-person/web-enable interviews.
• Perform analyses of internal customer data, preferences, attitudes, and behaviors to develop a cohesive understanding of customer segments.
• Set project and task deadlines, monitor progress, and prepare project status reports for management.
• Design and administer qualitative and quantitative primary research, including web-based surveys, focus group, and interview discussion guides to gather customer insights.
• Lead meetings and coordinate efforts across various customer-facing teams to align activities, ensure global consistency, and discuss findings.

• Prepare and deliver data and insights in a way that is easily interpreted and used as the basis for development and enhancement of our products and services.
• Recommend ways to improve the customer experience; measure impact of initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, cognitive or behavioral science, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Qualtrics and Qlik
• 3+ years experience in qualitative and quantitative market or customer experience research
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and judgment skills
• Highly organized, detail oriented, flexible and manage time effectively
• Work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Effective oral, written and presentation communication skills
• Work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate-level relevant coursework completed
• Proficiency in programming language
• Proficiency in descriptive and inferential statistics

• Experience working with large databases and using datasets
• Experience in B2B or medical device industry

 

Physical Requirements:

• General office environment
• Close visual acuity for working with computers
• Some domestic travel (5%)
• Perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA
