The Operations Project Manager assists Operations Management in identifying and implementing improvements in the various manufacturing departments. This role will consist of a variety of job functions from daily tasks to large, company wide operations improvement projects. This role will work closely with manufacturing management to ensure various operations metrics are monitored and improved (leadtime, inventory levels, late orders, profit margins, etc).


- Maintain first-hand understanding of the state of the various manufacturing departments.
- Work with operations management to identify areas that need improved to achieve operational excellence.
- Work with the Continuous Improvement team and manufacturing leadership to sustain improvement activities.
- Perform process mapping and line balancing activities to improve flow line efficiency.
- Analyze various data to make improvements regarding product delivery.
- Must maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growth.
- Adhere to the Quality Management System and its processes to meet FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization.
- Must strictly adhere to safety requirements.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Must maintain company quality and quantity standards.
- Must have effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative and independent work situations and environments with
minimal supervision.
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations.


- Bachelors degree; or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background.
- 5+ years of industry experience preferred.
- Computer proficiency, experience with Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Business Objects, Qlik, and jBASE experience preferred.

- Lean knowledge/experience preferred.
