The HR Manager manages the HR function for a given entity, facility, divisional or functional area. This position acts as a strategic partner and consultant to management and employees on HR related issues and Learning & Talent Development needs and leads and directs the day to day operations for the HR functional team.


• Analyze trends and metrics to make recommendations regarding solutions, programs and policies
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
• Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal counsel as needed/required
• Provide day to day performance management guidance to management and employees
• Ensure compliance with all applicable company, federal, and local safety and environmental regulations, guidelines and policies, including Code of Conduct and leadership expectations

• Ensure effective use of personnel throughout the department

• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for desired career growth and opportunities for professional development
• Provide guidance and coaching to HR Generalists engaged in departmental restructures, workforce planning and succession planning

• Oversee and assist with the total employee life-cycle (hire to retire)

• Guide departmental operations and personnel by way of performance reviews, training and development  programs, setting and tracking goals and objectives, and promoting fiscal responsibility
• Build and maintain strong and diverse relationships across the organization, including functional leaders, peers, senior management, and subordinates
• Prioritize critical versus non-critical issues, and communicate the critical issues to functional leadership and Global HR Director in a clear and timely manner
• Must maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growth.
• Adhere to the QMS, FDA 21 CFR 820 and all regulatory requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
• Minimum 5 years experience in Human Resources or related field
• PHR, SPHR, CP or SCP certification strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of applicable regulatory standards (FDA, CFR, OSHA, etc.)

• Experience using MS Office + HRIS and ATS systems

• Previous leadership experience preferred

• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization.
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements.
• Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards.
• Must have effective communication skills and work collaboratively.


Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Appropriate casual business attire required.

• Approximately 5% of the time is spent traveling to various personnel functions with the majority of this time spent sitting, walking and standing.

• Approximately 95% of the time is spent in a normal office environment requiring sitting, walking and moving around various offices and plant environments.
